ABOUT OUR BIBLE COLLEGE
DOCTRINAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR STUDENTS
To maintain continuity and consistency with its heritage, North Florida Christian College requires all teachers and administration to agree with, personally adhere to, and support the school's doctrinal statements. This distinctive identity is what is believed and taught in our courses.

The school recognizes, however, that its specific theological positions do not define orthodoxy for the whole of the body of Christ. For this reason, NFCC accepts students from other theological traditions within conservative evangelicalism.

To be admitted and to graduate, students must also personally adhere to and support the following doctrinal positions:

-
the inspiration, authority, and inerrancy of Scripture
-
the Trinity as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
-
the full deity and full humanity of Christ
-
the virgin birth of our savior Jesus Christ
-
the spiritual lostness of the human race
-
the need to repent of personal sin
-
the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ
-
salvation by God's grace through faith alone in Christ alone
-
the physical and imminent return of Christ
Accreditation:
Government Status Recognition – State of Florida
Florida Department of Education Recognizes North Florida Christian College & Theological Seminary as a Registered Religious Institution and Seminary, as having complied with Section 1005.06(1)(f), of the Florida statutes pursuant to religious educational institutions.
NFCC is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
NFCC is also a member of the North American Association of Christians in Social Work. NACSW is a non-profit Christian social work organization. Their mission is to equip their members to integrate Christian faith and professional social work practice. Members of NACSW represent a rich diversity of Christian denominations.
We are not accredited at this time with any regional accrediting agencies. However, we have operated, successfully, as a school of ministry for over 30 years with students graduating and serving in a variety of areas including bible teaching, pastoring, missionary work, and Christian counseling. NFCC clearly understands the purpose of accreditation. As noted by the US Department of Education, and all US DOE-recognized accreditors, accreditation is a voluntary process. However, we do plan to seek regional accreditation in the future.
Our Beliefs
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God. Everything at NFCC falls under the authority of the Bible, which declares timeless truth that is relevant today. The Word is the foundation for both our understanding of God and our awareness of what He has called us to be and do in His world.
Our History
NFCC was founded in 1991 in Tallahassee, Florida. We've been serving Christian workers for more than three decades. Our mission is to provide a quality Bible-based education to Followers of Christ, Pastors, Teachers, and Christian Counselors so that they might be able to faithfully proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
